現在發現不只傷風咳嗽時需要對症下藥。。。

對待感情也一樣，再怎麽不願意，有時候還是得love him the way he wants..

I'm so liking the weather here in taipei!!!!! and i so wanna bag all those pretty winter clothes i see everywhere!!!!! ok, not everywhere la.. only shopping places.. they are cheaper here.. now i abit regret buying my bogbog clothes in singapore!!! should've come here to buy.. all the bogbog clothes are everywhere!!! even giodarno here sells bogbog clothes!

FYI, bogbog clothes refer to:

white, black, kaki colors, bright pink yellow blue red etc, army colors.. grey.. u name it they have it!!! and all those beanies, scarves.. average price about S$10.. long winter socks about S$5.. and they are so pretty!!!!!! if i go crazy and buy them home, monkey will kill me.. so i dare not buy so many lar.. only a couple of them.. whahahahahaha.. even better than online shopping manz!

and i finally found cosmed.. prices are slightly cheaper than watsons, but if watsons have promotions, like now they do, it's actually cheaper to buy at watsons..

okieokie enough here.. i shall go prepare for my presentations tomorrow morning!

Planning to get your own flat, your life.. etc really isn't that easy.

it's not just paying registration fees to ballot for new flats, see when construction completes, assume i will be free on the day to choose the unit, blablabla.

i wish i was more involved in the discussion, if there ever was one.

have you ever considered, this is not only your life we're talking about here. it's O-U-R-S.
it's US we are talking about.

have you really really considered our life when you're doing all these? have you ever considered what i think how i feel what i want, and then see how to work everything out? somehow i think you are not going in the right direction.. thinking all the wrong things, making all the wrong assumptions.

number one. DO NOT assume i'm willing to live with you.

i suggest you speak to those married friends of yours for more 'exposure' to the issue.. the more such things happen these days, the more i'm re-thinking my direction.

6 October 2008 (Monday)
1115: reach national dental centre level 3, registration, signing medisave forms, consent forms etc
1135: measured weight, blood pressure, temperature..
1145: nurse brought me to my bed, asked me to get changed, briefing by anaesthetist..
1150: briefing by Dr Lim, read some instructions, read abit of magazine while waiting for my turn..
1215: followed the nurse into the surgery lab, lied down on the table, covered with blanket, asked to put my arms on my tummy, take deep breaths from the oxygen mask, felt a warm gush through the back of my left palm where they injected the anaesthetic, one breath, two, three.. and i'm out.
1430: woke up, found myself already on my bed, everything's a blur, heard someone talk to me asking if i'm alright, closed my eyes and fell asleep.
1515: woke up, still a little groggy, realised i can't speak with the huge gauze in my mouth, slept for awhile more
1530: nurse removed the gauze, i tasted blood, had a 'lil ribena drink, throat felt sore, face felt numb.. (sore throat because they inserted a tube through my nose to my lungs to help me breathe while i'm 'sleeping')
1545: monkey came to pick me up! i got changed (still abit blur), Dr Lim checked my wounds, nursed briefed somemore, asked if i wanted to keep my teeth (i left it there)i made payment at cashier, collected medicine..
1630: home sweet home! continue to sleep off the anaethesia.

7 October 2008 (Tuesday)
faithfully on medication every 8 hours, constantly hungry, survived on magnolia milk, yeo's soya milk.. both cheeks swollen, could hardly speak.. received a call from dental centre to make sure i was alright.. wound still bleeding until the evening..

8 October 2008 (Wednesday)
continue the 8-hour cycle medication.. attempted new foods - porridge, ice cream.. tried to curb the urge to sneeze/ yawn/ cough, afraid the wounds may burst.. *yuck* right cheek more swollen than left cheek, felt feverish in the day (could be side effect).. damn painful when i tried to wash my face!

9 October 2008 (Thursday)
still on medication every 8 hours.. attempted more new foods - sponge cake.. blueblack on right side of my face starts to show.. the best thing to do was to sleep, when i'm always hungry and in pain. when i sleep, no pain, not hungry, no need to move my mouth muscles! i yawned a few times, and it felt horrible..

10 October 2008 (Friday)
feeling much much better, but still on medication.. attempted more new foods - steam egg, taukua, fish ball sliced into small small pieces.. blueblack on right side even more obvious, looks like i applied some herbal ointment on my face.. i can speak more today, but jaw gets tired really easily! i sneezed, and i freaked out.. thinking my stitches were going to snap.. i was paranoid haha..

11 October 2008 (Saturday)
medication should finish by tonight.. super bored with my diet by now.. i can't wait to much on pizza, chili crab, noodles, etc.. attempted new foods - fries(the soft ones only), kinder bueno.. i can open my mouth wider now, can see the stitches of the lower jaw.. so happy that i kept talking non-stop, until i accidentally bit on the wound.. there was a little bleeding, but it stopped quickly..

12 October 2008 (Sunday)
no longer on medication.. only the antiseptic mouthwash.. had fish porridge for lunch, kinder bueno for dessert.. mouth can open even wider than yesterday.. can also bite more firmly now.. i think i may start to engage my molars for eating?

A new direction?

the urge to re-look at what i want in life is increasing.. 3rd year into the job.. life plans start rolling in.. new house.. marriage.. family.. etc. at this point in time i can't seem to find the balance in life. you know.. the work-life balance.. and that probably is why i want to take a step back, and look at it again..

work.. i can see myself in the industry.. i'm eager to learn.. i know it. but is it what i want? truth is, as by buddies will know, i'm not the ambitious career woman by heart.. i want to have my own family.. and maybe a small side business.. we'll see. i told myself to stay for a few years, at least until i settle down.. but i dislike that i don't have me-time NOW. which is what i need, before going into the we-time. sometimes i think maybe the 9-5 govt job will suit me just fine, but monkey thinks otherwise.. i duno, but a routine will allow more me-time right?

i'm starting to hate my work more that i like it.. and this is definitely not a spur of the moment. i've been thinking, just no time to pen it or speak of it..

i'll give it another shot. and i'll see how.

on a sidenote, i was hurt when friends say i'm boxim, for not turning up at gatherings.. it's hard to make everyone understand why i can't be there, or why i'm so occupied with work.. sometimes i wished to be irresponsible (either at or outside work)..

Finally! My Japan Trip 2008!

looking forward to 20 Dec 2008, the long-waited Japan trip.. oh man, can't wait for it to be here!
Long queue at natas fair when we reach like 1030, cant believe it.. bottle neck at the ticketing booth lar, the whole exhibition hall was hardly occupied manz.. anyhow, after a whole 15-20min wait we finally got inside, visited the booths, signed the pkg, lucky draw(not lucky lar).. and go home..

we then packed our attires, went to vivo to meet matt & sm for badminton! now my butt's aching.. it was good workout, and then good meal after the exercise..

what's after the meal? no prize for the right guess.. haha *hint: pong! gang! dasanyuan!*

Botanical Gardens excursion

when we reach it was blazingly hot! but i had fun.. at least now we're doing 'healthier' stuff. no longer mj all day or slack n dvd all weekend hee.. i'm glad i got him a camera.. even more so now that his buddy oso got a new camera!! like tt can go out together, tk photos together and compare and learn together! hah.

Hort Park excursion

we started from alexandra rd.. 'hiked' and 'photo-take' our way to henderson waves..

monkeys spotted along the way.. there are signs on the bridge not to feed them.. but still we see some ppl feeding them sweets!!! no good no good.. next time they expect visitors to feed.. and then if you don't.. they may scratch lei!
i look so cui3 in the photo above, but monkey insists it's 'photo of the day' cos of the effects and 'feel'.. *slaps forehead*

we stopped at henderson waves for more photos and some rest.. before turning back, walk all the way to our starting point, where the car is parked..

tiring.. sweaty.. but feels good lei! all the photo-taking.. hee. i want more!

by the way, thank you monkey for my adiddas running shoes! i love them! and shall use them often hee~

Angela's Live @ Singapore Expo

Courtesy of SY's aunt, i get to watch Angela's Live concert.. my first time watching concert @ Expo!

i didn't know they were invitation tickets.. i didn't know where section AA3 is.. i didn't know i could actually bring camera into the concert!!!

My gosh! I'm like sitting at AA3 row C! That's middle stage 3rd row from the front!!!!! freaking near can?!?! apologies for the lousy photos. that's all my pathetic hp camera could do -_-"..

i must agree i'm ridiculously lucky.. just about a month ago i got free tix (courtesy of qian) to watch David Tao's Live @ Indoor stadium..

now Angela's Live @ Expo! puiee was jealous, but guess she shouldn't be..

cos the concert was okay only, not fantastically great. i mean yeah, Angela's got good & powerful voice.. but no stamina. can't blame her though, could be cos she's still recovering from her condition..

the whole show lasted less than 2 hours.. there's 范范 and 郭静 as special guests, who each sang 1 solo. minus the dances, intervals for Angela to change costumes.. minus the time she was speaking.. do your maths and you could guess roughly how many songs she sang..

for me it was okay, since i din pay for the tix, and i'm anyway not an avid fan of hers..

now now now.. let's see.. will i get to see another concert for free? =P

Hee, my first time checking in alone, boarding plane and take a flight alone, reach terminal figure out how to take shuttle bus alone, go KLIA then buy train ticket alone, then take express train to hotel alone, check into hotel alone, stay in hotel alone, until monkey comes back from work! then when he goes work the next day, i shall wake up alone, have breakfast alone, explore the hotel/ area alone, go out shopping alone, eat lunch alone, go back hotel alone, then dial room service alone, watch cable tv/ dvd/ work alone, until monkey comes back from work! haha.

i plan to finish some work (no choice if not when i return i'll be stuffed with work), update my blog (esp Beijing trip entries), read up on stuff (eg economist/ country report - aiyo, for work again), do some spa (maybe manicure), SLEEP EAT and SNACK to the fullest!

I'm so lucky! 2 years ago when he came to SG, i was invited to his concert by a friend.. until now, i still think he treated me cos he liked a closer girlfriend of mine, and on my girlfriend's mention, decided to 'ask' me along.. i bet he was hating me for being the light bulb the whole night, not to mention burning a hole in his pocket!

anyhow, tis time round i got to know availability of free tix from qian approximately 2 hrs before the concert! and since monkey was playing mj with matt, shermin and i went to the concert instead!!

we were seated right at the top, second level (S$98 seats).. but were not disappointed at all..

cos he's simply AMAZING!!!!!

really powerful voice, and his RnB techniques.. oh my GOSH!! listening to him sing live makes me so touched! especially songs like 爱我还是他 寂寞的季节 月亮代表我的心 makes me melt lar!!

definitely worth every buck (if i paid for tix).. for the full 3 hours.. i'm so gonna blast his songs on my player!!

looking forward to his next concert in SG!

Lots of freebies! we bought it at the IT fair..

First semi-pro camera.. so monkey can use the manual functions, while bee uses the auto function like her previous cameras lar! it looks bulky and heavy, but it's not.. hee..

the initial ideas was to get a canon semi-pro or ixus.. budden.. haiz.. the power of IT fair.. so many brands together.. walk here walk there browse here and there, end up buying somehthing else lo..

used ocbc card to pay (interest free instalments).. abt $65 per mth for 1 year.. hee.. participated in the 'wheel of fortune' draw.. and got a $100 spa voucher.. not bad lar.. =)

now monkey ignores bee.. cos he's so happy with his new toy he THINKS bee can wait..

i noe in another 3 mths or so it'll be 'outdated'.. but still.. i love this away jersey alot la! nice design.. and it's a gift frm monkey teoh!

can you believe it?!?!?!? the avid arsenal fan has painstakingly made the effort to visit queensway shopping centre.. and 'shop' for a man u jersey for me! hee.. no number 7 on the back, but it's okie.. i shall imagine there is the 7 and name there.. keke..

the sleeves abit too long, the jersey too, cos it's men's size S la.. but still looks cool lor.. hahahahah i'm so gonna wear it soon!

moa's really sweet.. she bought this 'virgo' dOoOdoLL for me! mr muscles has one too.. but i think mine's so much cuter lar! hee..

i did inted to use it as a mini voodoo doll, using those pins and needles on it.. but currently, it works fine as a key chain! i don't have anyone in mind to use the 'voodoo' on anyway.. heh..

Happy Valentine's Day

lavish gifts? big bouquet of flowers? sumptuous meal at an atas place? nopey nopey.. so commercialized.. any day can be v-day for any couples yeah?

but well, you may also see it as a day slightly different frm the rest, so you can look forward to it amongst the other boring days.. like working days, school days, exam days.. etc. heh.

work is as usual.. but lunch a lil different. met up with ned and wh for lunch at mana korean restaurant, telok ayerst (opp pwc building).. mr muscles recommended the place and okie.. we decided to give it a try lar!

we ordered too much food tho.. each of us ordered a main course and we chose another two side dishes (rice cake and unagi), without realising the complimentary side dishes will be too much for us to bear! hee, so in the end we couldn't finish all the food lar.. but i'd love to gobble them up to the last bit if my stomach has space heh..

as much as i think the occassion is too hyped up by all those business-minded people who want to reap as much moolah as possible on this day.. and that prices of roses inflate like nobody's business, monkey teoh still sent flowers to my office..

from his favorite florist la.. fareast flora lar.. well, i'm touched... and felt abit paiseh la.. but then hor.. if on normal days rite, the flowers will be of much better quality.. either the delivery man didn't take care of the flowers, or overwhelming orders causes the absence of QC.. as you may see, some of the petals look 'squashed'.. like someone pressed on them til they turned a little black..
nevertheless, the fury fury stuff around the flowers compensated for the not-so-perfect roses.. hehe.. quite special la, the design, apparently that was the reason monkey teoh chose this.. different design from the others that he saw.. hmm..

anyway, the flowers came in a box (see pic above).. and i tot it's a pretty good idea yah? can kinda protect the flowers rite.. prevent it frm 'falling' during transportation.. and the bos can be used to keep my stuff in office lei! hehe.. i dun intend to bring the flowers hm.. let it dry in the office and then i'll see where i can place it.. the previous bouquet monkey teoh sent in oct 2007 stil stitting nicely in a corner of my workstation lei..

after work, no sumptuous meal.. number 1. cos too many ppl, too crowded, too overpriced. numbr 2. wanna save money. number 3. i have to work late. number 4. monkey's mama cooked dinner for us liaoz!
