Yusheng was so much better than Zui Fairprice.. love the fried yam though i dun like to eat yam.. haha..

monkey took this picture cos he wanna win angbao draw.. haha.. i told him he might as well take it home with him la! alamak~~~ by the way maybe i should get him some books on photography.. he can't use a basic consumer digicam decently for goodness sake.. either the pictures sengeh4 or blurblur.. maybe he only can use the pros.. SLR or something.. hahahahhahahaaha..

very very full after the dinner! after this round, i had to catch the second round (steamboat dinner) at my aunt's place lei! haha.. i had a nice time w my cousins.. catching up and laughing at one another.. counting down together before ht sent us back!

A little surprise for AT

The evening before at comes bact to work from reservist.. our boss decided we should give him a little surprise.. so before we left for home sweet home.. each of us wrote postits and stick it all over his workstation! even his unwashed water bottle! *eeeee* some were cny greetings, some jus plain nonsense (like those from me) and some were serious work related issues! hahahaha~ of cos we did separate them from the "surprise" postits..

look! we even stick them on the windows! hahahaha.. yaya.. he gets window seat.. woohoo~ which is not such a good seat afterall (have to draw and undraw blinds, not as cool on HOT days).. but i dun mind lei~ hahahahaha

his reaction the next morning was okay lo.. all he said was "thanks ar.." -_-" followed by taking pictures of our 'creation'.. hehz..

favorite carot cake from the taiwan snacks shop level B1 of our office building.. (see below) $1 for a piece, nicely cut up to bite size.. topped with sesame oil, fried shallots and chilli! always sold out before 9am.. once i queued before 845am and still sold out~ cos the person infront of me took all the remining 4 pieces lar~~~~~~~~~

oo, and i finally finished using my la senza vouchers! i could not use the vouchers on promotional items.. damn, so i used it on a 'new arrival' item.. argh.. not a very good idea eh, vouchers are supposed to be like cash right? can use on anything frm the shop ma! anyhow, at least i fully utilized it.. and top up $40 bucks for the promotional items.. with the minimum spending of $80, i received a complimentary set of 'naughty' poker which was not naughty at all..

kinda lost the ability to blog after so long.. and i seriously need to change the layout for the new year !!!

hainanese curry chicken rice!!

yummilicious lunch hs introduced! $16 was a lil too steep in monkey's opinion but i thought it was alright lei.. haha..

weird.. i tried locating yong siat street on the map but i couldn't find it! not even a road name similar to it.. anyhow, it's abt half a bustop away from tiong bahru mrt station.. exit the mrt station and walk towards the tiong bahru food centre direction.. then turn in when you see kim tian road and walk straight all the way in.. then you'll see a ulu ulu small coffeshop look-a-like place and there's a sign saying hainanese curry rice and tadah! you've reached the place~!

Saturday Shopping w Monkey

finally i get to try my all-time-fav-choc (Godiva) chocolate drink.. chocolixir!!! $8.. some say expensive.. but i think it's worth trying! so much better than chocolate blend and other places! monkey likes it too! =P

not too sure abt the monkey family though (see below).. i have never tried asking them to eat or drink.. and it seems to me that they were pretty engrossed in their reversi game!

more to add to the monkey family! minitoons decided they should carry the hong zhong and bai ban masagging sticks as well.. (thank goodness) and thus i've completed the set for monkey!

now.. with the mahjong massaging sticks, the magnets and also hp chains.. monkey gets his da4 san1 yuan2 set at home.. plus he can gang4 the fa cai lei! hahahahaha..

Minds Cafe

my first time to minds with the babes and hs.. after dinner at ps crystal jade, we popped over to minds and soon after jasc and qian joined us! this time round I tried some new games! hamster roller is not bad.. but only allows up to max 4 ppl for the game.. too lazy to explain the game.. try it yourself la!

We played a few other games.. including one of my favorites ticket to ride.. it's a lil taxing.. but once we get the hang of it, it can be quite fun! my tootootrains are green! yeah! haha..

oh! this game express it guess it was so hilarious! each if us were supposed to pick an 'expression' card from the stack beside the board and then throw the dice to decide whether we would gonna express it through charade, drawing, or reading a phrase with the expression/tone. the rest would then guess which expression was it.. from the board.

imagine you picked the expression "sleazy" and kena charade! or had to read the phrase "I have never seen anyone as smelly as you!" in the sleazy tone.. *laughs*

While we were playing the board games, we played say what!? alongside the game.. each of us picked a card and we were only allowed to see others' card.. the aim is to make the person holding the card do the action or say the word that's on the card. once it's done, the person will collect all the cards from other players and next round begins.. the player with the most cards at the end of the day loses!

it was pretty tough to concentrate on the board game and trying to make others say what or do what.. also trying to get suspiccious of whether others are making you lose the game say what!?.. fun though! haha..

i had so much fun.. and thanks to jasc and her fren vic, i got a ride to hougang!! weeeeeee~

yeah, initially i can't find many things to fill up the space on my table.. then soon i realise i haven't got enough space for my snacks! so i pulled my pedestral out for that purpose.. now i have a "L-shape" workstation! haha..

and i kinda like to walk around barefooted.. i know abit dirty.. so most of the time i walk around in my slippers lor.. heh.. this photos taken last week.. since then i've made minor changes.. added my fav suzuki swift! and more food! yeah!

are you wondering why my sis so nice treating us dinner? why a relatively expensive place? haha.. she's working part time at lemongrass.. and my parents have never tried the food there.. so we decided it'll be good to bring them to her workplace for dinner! erm, plus i asked my sis if there'll be any treat since she's earning money! hehehehehe~

we had 10 dishes (including special lemongrass drink).. which is too much for us! drinks and dessert on the house.. cos they know my sister ma.. hehz..

raining these few days.. and for 3 consecutive days.. i can see rainbow from my office window! hehz.. see the above.. 1st day rainbow very faint.. cos cloudy mar..

The first big event in 2007 for me.. moving office!!!
from raffles place to a much BIGGER office in tanjong pagar.. say bye bye to raffles place! kinda sad actually.. no more shopping at raffles exchange during lunch time.. no more eating at golden shoe..

packing packing packing.. i only have 1/2 a box of things to pack.. so i shared a box with cf! haha even need to paste my name on the dustbin lei!

after packing up.. we left it to the admin team and professional movers to the shifting haha.. off we went to marina square makan brunch at xing wang hk cafe.. I ate the usual minced pork meesua with my hot yinyong!

then we went bowling.. only 2 games and i'm like dead tired~~ actually it was cos we were busy jumping around screaming, taking photos (tons and tons but i shall only show a few here ha. the rest here), cheering and laughing at one another.. not bad la, 5 years never bowl still can hold the ball properly.. although wash the longkang many many times =P

after pool guess where we went? minds cafe! hee.. fun fun fun board games! by the end of the 2-hr games.. most of us tired go home liaoz.. so in the end left me ps ym go plaza sing to shop shop.. then me and ym went to makan set dinner at laobeijing! only $27 per person and we ate these~

very very yummy food! hee.. love the roast duck and noodles!

that's all for my day.. oh! and i found mj hp chains at muee~~ so happie~ the outlet at plaza sing dun have my tiles.. so i paid and ps kindly offered to go bugis collect for me since she's meeting her friend there anyway! so happie!

tiring but fun day for me.. concussed sweetly and soundly when i reached home.. haha.
