Alright! i said i'll update what i've been doing eating these few days...


last friday 25nov.. we went to dragon city restaurant at copthorne orchid for dinner!! ahaha... my first time there leh! GREAT food.. (the price oso GREAT la haha).. too busy enjoying food le.. so forgot to take some pictures.. only managed to capture the shark's fin and duck.. hahaha.. 4 of us paid about $180, after 20% discount.. quite ex.. but it's monkey's treat!! so happy! hahahahahah...

then we had dessert at hagen daz!! ice cream cake, four scoops of ice cream with toppings.. and fondue!! hhahahahahahaahaha..

i'm a fat but happy bee..


oh yeah.. see monkey with his new spectacles!! the blue frame very nice hor? he bought it at marina square 'spectacle hut'... only abt $60+ for the frame.. they having opening sale la.. worth it!

on monkey's birthday on monday 28nov.. we met up with his buddies for dinner at paragon spaggedies.. one-for-one set meal during weekdays for uob card.. too bad the promotion period over le la.. last until 30nov only.. anyhow.. i had the seafood sizzelini (recommended by jasc) while monkey had pasta with lobster baby abalone and duno wat.. no more abalone so they replaced it with crayfish.. monkey said it's not very nice la the pasta.. but the sizzelini is very nice!! hahaha..

after dinner we walked to the balcony at heerens to chill out.. not bad la the place.. nice atmosphere.. but the drinks are expensive, in my opinion heh.. one pine of heneken $15.. one jug of vodka lime abt $45.. very ex rite?? and you have to have a minimum spending (of i dunno how much) before u can sit at the comfy seats with cushions and all.. but that day the person say since it is weekday so nvm la, they let anyone sit.. hmmm..

i'm a fatter but still happy bee!!!

on 29nov tues.. i treated monkey to a dinner buffet at MELT for his birthday!! haha.. not alot of people when we went there.. probably cos it's a weekday.. both of us seemed to be the youngest there.. so i dun dare to take many many photos.. like so not pro, so mountain turtle like that.. haha.. the variety of food not as wide as baccarat, but the quality of food is high.. some of the dishes like thai salad prawn, indian fish curry, baked potatoes are really teasty! haha..

oh yes! the sashimi there is the best i've ever tried. i ate so many salmon and tuna sashimi i felt so 'raw'.. hur~ but really.. the sashimi is REALLY REALLY good.. must try! even monkey who dun really fancy sashimi commended it! haha..

the service is of course good la (afterall it's a 5star hotel).. but everytime we went to get food and come back to our table, the napkins will be nicely folded into a smal triangle on the side of the table abit irritating leh.. haha in the end we oso stop keeping unfolding it and put in on our laps..

only when we start our dessert i started taking photos.. haha reason being the side where the desserts are nobody sitting there la! anyhow.. i tot the most interesting part of MELT was the dessert section..


look at the chocoloate fondue they have!!! so bloody hell tall haha.. not as huge as the one at fullerton ba.. but still it's big.. and the variety of deserts... *salavating*

the chocoloate moose, mango pudding, chocolate truffle, raspberry cheesecake, custard pudding and etc are so so so finger-licking good! hahaha i realise i have limited vocab for describing how tasty the food are.. hehz.. but really really very tasty la! hehz..

the total bill was slightly above $100, for lunch buffet it's about $40 per person.. i think it's not bad.. for the quality.. =)

it was raining dinosaurs after we let the hotel.. so we walked to esplanade so we get shelter to the bus stop hehz, on the way we took some photos lo.. as usual..


monkey's first randition of the xi3 nu4 ai1 le4 pose!!! other than the first and the last, i had a little difficulty in differentiating between the angry shot and the sad shot.. *lol*
