Hmmm, i think this year's much better.. at least i did not totally rot at home on the first day of new year..

On chu1 yi1, woke up only when my uncle came to my house and give me ang bao.. hahaha.. then went to monkey's place in the afternoon..

my lunch.. fish fish fish! yummy! everytime i go monkey's place i have fish to eat leh! so nice! my ma says i have a 'cat' face.. keep eating fish.. muahahah..

i stayed til pretty late.. we were hungry, wanted to call KFC delivery.. turned out they couldn't handle the orders.. ended up eating at kopitiam somewhere in hougang.. hahahah..

then on chu1 er4.. went to my father's eldest sister's place for lunch.. steamboat!! i couldn't stop attacking the batang fish and grouper.. hahaha really very nice leh! some of my aunts and uncles there too.. along with my cousins and nieces and nephews.. my my.. i feel old..

after lunch, we all went to my fifth uncle's place.. standard wan la.. every second day of lunar new year oso go his place.. so so so many pple there!! (haha means i have extra ang baos..)

no la.. what i enjoyed more was meeting my cousins after such a long time.. and i get to see brandon!! my adorable nephew! ahaha..


oh yes! and the gambling!! the usual mahjong(i think there were 4 tables at max), si4 se4 pai2, da4 xiao3 and blackjack.. i only played mahjong la, not with chips.. with cash okie! hahaha.. won abit la($4), played 20cent-40cent only ma.. d's gf lost abt $20.. she played with my father and uncles, the higher level ppl.. haha i played with my cousins.. hehz..

my father asked why i nv ask monkey along.. haha guess wat was my response? i told him i dun wan to bring cos in case next year i change bf liaoz then my relatives will ask, eh? different bf liao ar? u noe, it's not like confirm he's the one so i won't bring.. hahahahaha..

and when other relatives asked, i replied asking which bf they talking abt.. number 1, 2, 3 or 4.. hahaha.. doreen told me not to be so proud, cos she's still single too! haha.. hmmm.. i quite enjoy some surprised looks when i asked which bf they wan to see.. hahaha..

i tot anson's response was quite interesting.. he said, "neh, the one who buys u ur diamond ring lor.. ", yh's mum (my 3rd aunt) said, "huh, so many ar? er.. the only one i met few months ago lor.."

i used to get rather annoyed if the same question like "where's ur bf? why nv bring? got bf or not? a few more years can get married liao hor?" pops up again and again.. but now i'll just take it and well, in a way deal with it in a more light hearted manner.. haha..

right right.. come tell me, did i become prettier or wat? haha.. or is it just erm, some superficial/customary/standard remarks relatives have to make each year? my mum got frequent, erm, make that very frequent comments that they can't recognize me cos i've bloomed very well.. eh, i dun remember such remarks in previous years..

yala yala.. felt happy of cos.. but i tend to think it's jus something they have to say to be nice.. haha.. and they said i've lost weight.. this i have to say.. no no NO! i have not lost weight.. illusion..

monkey said they say i am pretty now cos last time i really fugly.. where got this kind of bf huh hmmm huh?!?!?!

i told my mum what monkey said and my mum said he's so bad too har! (maybe my mum thinks so too, just that she doesn't want me to be upset)

he's really so adorable leh! i was told by yh to distract him while she changed his diapers, then after she was done, i carried him, and he kissed me leh!! then he smiled and was so happy.. so cute!!!! *pinch*

i kept telling monkey i wanna carry brandon home.. haha then he said go give birth to one for myself lo.. i say okie and he says i'm crazy.. hahah..


well, same activities la.. gambling and photo-whoring.. my sister's the one taking photos.. cos i was entertaining my cute little nephew haha.. and she's not really good with it.. may of her photos are blur.. it doesn't happen when i'm the photographer.. so it's not my camera's fault alright!!! haha perhaps she should get the dimage anti-shake camera.. haha..

this is my niece py.. she's very sweet.. she used to stick to yh, but now that yh's pregnant, she cannot kajiao her liaoz.. so she change target and come kajiao me! haha.. comb my hair, tie my hair, bring me walk here and there and everywhere, play with my camera, handphone, open up my bag to see what's inside.. etc.. haha..

my father used to tell me everyone (well, almost, really almost) in the family (paternal side) knows how to paly mahjong.. and usually start from young..

when i told monkey i know mahjong since i was 10, he didn't believed.. i did not have a picture of me playing mahjong then.. but here's a kind of evidence la..


my cousins and nephews playing mahjong! how cool is that!?!?! they are about the same age but they the 2 boys facing the camera are nephews of the 2 not facing the camera.. haha.. nevermind abt that.. the point is they are playing mahjong!! haha..

and i have this young young cousin who is an expert(in many's opinion) in mahjong.. he even taught my gg-23-yr-old cousin how to play mahjong (you noe like how to maximise the opportunity of winning or playing defence to prevent others from winning)..

some of us believed he's talented in mj cos the day when he was born, his mother was halfway through a mj session, on chinese new year! hahaha..

speaking of saving up.. i jus bought a new adidas jacket recently.. $119.. win liaoz.. hahaha.. i jus can't resist it la.. aim adidas jacket for so long liaoz.. and i think i suddenlili have the craze over jackets.. perhaps due to the weather? maybe.. i jus like them la.. jus like how i like shoes and bags.. hahahah

this semester i'm lagging behind w readings and all, tho actually there isn't much to read.. stupid log module so many individual projects! what the hell.. but i have 2 s/u options left.. gonna make full use of them..

this is so incoherent but i'm starting to lose the motivation in my r/s.. things are gg fine actually, but somehow i start to get irritated easily and then cannot be bothered abt it anymore the next minute.. is this healthy? i use to be grouchy and ponder over it for a while. now when i'm irritated, i black face awhile, then the next moment i jus let it go and can't be bothered le.. it's not i give and take.. it's actually the can't-be-bothered kind of feeling.. i jus feel that if i continue being me, he's gonna blow up too, so i jus shut up and act like nothing happened. maybe i've changed. u ask if i'm happy. i can't ask for more in a bf le, but i'm not sure if i'm suitable for him and vice versa.. but for now, i wont' change anything..

this entry started out intending to be a happy one.. abt my ktv and dinner and mj with friends.. now i have no mood.

yeah! finally we get to go ktv together!!! haha..


it was pretty fun.. though it was a short 3-hr singing session.. the talking suaning teasing crapping phototaking and what notz so fun! haha

met dapig's ger for the first time.. think she's friendly la.. and she sing not bad leh! heh.. very fun person.. see she so nice, bought us chocolates!!!!!! and it's yummy!! i think i ate most of it.. muahahahaha
after ktv, jasc vic kel me went to eat wanton mee.. haven been there for a long time.. more than a year i think.. the wanton mee still so nice hehz!

after dinner, we went to jasc place.. watched amazing race.. then ate supper (yeah so piggy).. then played mahjong!!! no no no, i din play.. i watch them play(as usual).. on off i played online games and continue singing along with the songs playing on jasc's laptop..

finally, went home in the morning to concuss.. haha my bioclock is like so so distorted.. i sleep at about 7-8am, then wake up in the late afternoon.. hahaha

oh ya! jasc said i look funny (or is it cute?) with helmet on.. hahaha i think i look quite kawaii.. hahaharite.. such a boring entry i tot.. tho i totally enjoyed myself.. tired la tired la.. hehz..

-Johor trip-

yeah yeah yeah! finally i'm not lazy enough to not post pictures.. haha

yesterday was the one-day trip to johor.. i woke up super duper early in the morning to make my way to monkey's place..

it's a almost 2hr journey if i take 143 then change to 147, and abt 1hr45mins if i take 143 to harborfront and then nel to hougang then walk to his place..

anyhow.. s came to pick us up at abt 11am.. then went to m's place.. and off we went to johor!

lunch at kfc, then shopped at city square.. i bought a fila bag and a tshirt from F.O.C! went to another place also.. then carrefour..

at the drinks section, the product 'pepsi tarik' caght my attention.. we dun have it here in singapore rite? haha i haven't seen one here anyway.. it's actually pepsi with stronger caffine or got abit coffe flavored la.. can't really remember.. but i thought it's pretty interesting..

nescafe's mocha changed pacakaging? i dun like the new puple package leh.. the previous one looked much much better.. er.. more appealing to me at least.. haha

after shopping at carrefour, we went to New Lucky Seafood Restaurant for dinner.. it's along Jalan Keris.. my second time there.. haha.. food really yummy leh!! we had yu2 piao2 soup, duck, prawns, bean curd, noodles, drinks, chinese tea.. 4 of us.. total bill abt 120ringgit.. really worth it for the quality leh! haha..

after dinner we came back from second link.. cos second link near to my place.. can drop me off first hehz.. haiz, i'm the only one staying in bloody west.. they so nice hor? haha

Alright! i said i'll update what i've been doing eating these few days...


last friday 25nov.. we went to dragon city restaurant at copthorne orchid for dinner!! ahaha... my first time there leh! GREAT food.. (the price oso GREAT la haha).. too busy enjoying food le.. so forgot to take some pictures.. only managed to capture the shark's fin and duck.. hahaha.. 4 of us paid about $180, after 20% discount.. quite ex.. but it's monkey's treat!! so happy! hahahahahah...

then we had dessert at hagen daz!! ice cream cake, four scoops of ice cream with toppings.. and fondue!! hhahahahahahaahaha..

i'm a fat but happy bee..


oh yeah.. see monkey with his new spectacles!! the blue frame very nice hor? he bought it at marina square 'spectacle hut'... only abt $60+ for the frame.. they having opening sale la.. worth it!

next on the menu!


on monkey's birthday on monday 28nov.. we met up with his buddies for dinner at paragon spaggedies.. one-for-one set meal during weekdays for uob card.. too bad the promotion period over le la.. last until 30nov only.. anyhow.. i had the seafood sizzelini (recommended by jasc) while monkey had pasta with lobster baby abalone and duno wat.. no more abalone so they replaced it with crayfish.. monkey said it's not very nice la the pasta.. but the sizzelini is very nice!! hahaha..

after dinner we walked to the balcony at heerens to chill out.. not bad la the place.. nice atmosphere.. but the drinks are expensive, in my opinion heh.. one pine of heneken $15.. one jug of vodka lime abt $45.. very ex rite?? and you have to have a minimum spending (of i dunno how much) before u can sit at the comfy seats with cushions and all.. but that day the person say since it is weekday so nvm la, they let anyone sit.. hmmm..

i'm a fatter but still happy bee!!!

on 29nov tues.. i treated monkey to a dinner buffet at MELT for his birthday!! haha.. not alot of people when we went there.. probably cos it's a weekday.. both of us seemed to be the youngest there.. so i dun dare to take many many photos.. like so not pro, so mountain turtle like that.. haha.. the variety of food not as wide as baccarat, but the quality of food is high.. some of the dishes like thai salad prawn, indian fish curry, baked potatoes are really teasty! haha..

oh yes! the sashimi there is the best i've ever tried. i ate so many salmon and tuna sashimi i felt so 'raw'.. hur~ but really.. the sashimi is REALLY REALLY good.. must try! even monkey who dun really fancy sashimi commended it! haha..

the service is of course good la (afterall it's a 5star hotel).. but everytime we went to get food and come back to our table, the napkins will be nicely folded into a smal triangle on the side of the table abit irritating leh.. haha in the end we oso stop keeping unfolding it and put in on our laps..

only when we start our dessert i started taking photos.. haha reason being the side where the desserts are nobody sitting there la! anyhow.. i tot the most interesting part of MELT was the dessert section..


look at the chocoloate fondue they have!!! so bloody hell tall haha.. not as huge as the one at fullerton ba.. but still it's big.. and the variety of deserts... *salavating*

the chocoloate moose, mango pudding, chocolate truffle, raspberry cheesecake, custard pudding and etc are so so so finger-licking good! hahaha i realise i have limited vocab for describing how tasty the food are.. hehz.. but really really very tasty la! hehz..

the total bill was slightly above $100, for lunch buffet it's about $40 per person.. i think it's not bad.. for the quality.. =)

it was raining dinosaurs after we let the hotel.. so we walked to esplanade so we get shelter to the bus stop hehz, on the way we took some photos lo.. as usual..

i wanna talk abt my buffet dinner last sat!!!

last saturday went out with monkey to buy his jersey for his case presentation.. not i want to say la.. but he looks good hor? so handsome! *ah-soh tone* (whatever that is hur~)

guess which one he bought in the end? the red one.. cos it's bloody hell only $49.90.. haha the brazil one on the left is $80 after discount.. too expensive for him..

i wanted to shop for some formal wear (my gosh i actually dun ahve white blouse can u believe it haha) and closed-toe heels.. but then no time.. so we went down to m's father's buffet restaurant Baccarat for dinner..

we reached first.. so while waiting outside, i start to photowhore waahahahahaha~damn it, my teeth very yellow.. jialat.. need to go dentist le.. or should i just buy some whitening product? i dunno which product better leh.. then many tell me whitening toothpaste not effective wan.. hurm.. *scratch head*

wait a minute.. i tot i was supposed to talk about my buffet dinner?!?!haha okieokie..

the Baccarat restaurant is at 51 Bras Basah Road, Plaza By The Park.. relatively new restaurant, and since it's one of monkey's friend's father's (haha) investment, we decided to try it out lo..

i only have limited photos to show cos i was too busytucking in.. the place is very spacious, the display of food is really nice.. to me the quality of food is really great!!! not only are the items so finger-licking good, they are also very exquisite!! so nice to look at!! how i wish they can last a long time for me to bring home and put on display wahahah..

they even have chocolate fountain leh!! not as high as the one in fullerton la.. but still it's nice to see one there! especially since i love chocolate so so much! hehz. the desserts looks really enticing too.. and they taste good!! hahah.. i cant' stop being excited about it.. and i still want to go back for more!! the variety of food is so wide that my supposedly-huge-stomach can't even handle..

just to name a few i tried tempura, many many sashimi, chili crab, dried tomato cheese roll, braised pork, award-winning roast duck(i forgot the exact name), salad prawn, baby lobster, crayfish, tofu with asian sauce... etc

i haven tried out ALL the food.. so i'll definitely go back for more!!

if you've noticed, there have been advertisements through radio and newspaper.. it's having a one-for-one promotion from 24 October to 24 November..

which means it costs $38+++ for 2 person dine in buffet for this promotional period.. for poor students like me.. fwah!! super worth it la!!

anyway even if no promotion, the place itself, the variety and quality of food is worth the price really seriously!!! haha i think it's a must try..

then off we went to grab a chocolate fondue!!! yummy! 4 of us shared a fondue for 2 la.. so fattening!!! but it was DELICIOUS wahaha..

sean was so evil!! i was putting my 'ball' of chocoloate coated chocolate ice cream in front of his mouth for a pose for photo.. end up he tried poking my nose with that thing he's holding and he ATE MY ICE CREAM!!!! %@^$%$&#*$

i always lurve going our with them.. the company's good enough.. nothing to do oso can have fun.. how cool is that?

was talking to jasc about if there is any chance we'll go out as 4 couples(8 of us).. our conclusion was the same.. we don't want it to be so.. haha.. go out as in hang around often.. go out as in for almost every of our outing.. from a group of 4 to 8, things will never be the same lah..

FUCKING BUSY with projects.. case.. assignments..

I'm only taking 4 modules this semester.. with one S/U option.. but i may well be busier than one who's taking 6 modules!!

Can't imagine what will happen if i take 5 modules.. wahahaha..

I'm not hating it.. in fact i'm learning alot from the projects.. promotional management.. product and brand management.. all areas i like!!

but cannot deny the workload is freaking building at a fast rate.. BOTTLENECK!!!

Actually it's only this 2 marketing modules that are killing me.. haha but oh well.. then again the sense of satisfaction derived from it is urm.. can't use words to explain la wahaha..
